First Edition. Vols. 1 and 2 published 1993, Vols. 3-5 published 1994. Profusely illustrated with more than 300 full colour photographs, maps, diagrams, charts and pictorial spreads and endpapers in each volume, 5 volume total of 1,196 pages. Hard cover, dark blue cloth boards, gilt titles on spines, colour illustrated dust jackets. This is a heavy set with a total weight (five volumes) of approximately 8.6 kg.
